A World Expo is a global gathering of nations dedicated to finding solutions to pressing challenges of our time by offering a journey inside a universal theme through engaging and immersive activities. It is held every five years for a duration of between 3 months and 6 months. Malaysia Pavilion’s theme “Energising Sustainability” captures its commitment to balance socio-economic progress with environmental concerns to ensure a secure and sustainable future. From 4 October 2021 to 27 March 2022, participants from 24 Ministries, 5 State Governments, 47 Government Agencies and 300 companies will be part of the Malaysian Pavilion trade & business delegations.

This competition is under the auspices of YB Rodziah Ismail, Exco for Entrepreneurial Development, Housing and Urban Well-Being, Selangor. The organization of this short video competition is a collaboration between two public universities; Universiti Putra Malaysia and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, together with other industry partners from One Team Networks Sdn. Bhd., DrMos HealthCare Sdn. Bhd. and Vircast Medic Sdn. Bhd. The programme is also attended by several other strategic partners such as the Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) and WATSONS Malaysia.
OBJECTIVE
The program aims to encourage community engagement on COVID-19 awareness and its impact on urban well-being.

The co-organiser from United Kingdom (Newton-Ungku Omar Fund & British Council) and Malaysia (Agensi Innovasi Malaysia, Platcom Ventures & SME Corp Malaysia) are pleased to announce ONE TEAM NETWORKS SDN BHD as the winner of the Dengue Tech Challenge 2016. Our patented novel product – Mosquito Home (an ideal solution for Aedes Mosquito Control) awarded as the only winner under the group for Prevention – Vector Control. The award winners were announced at an awards ceremony in Petrosains, KLCC, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 27 June 2016. His Royal Highness Prince Andrew, The Duke of York, KG. presented prizes to proud winners of the Dengue Tech Challenge 2016.
Dengue Tech Challenge 2016 - a competition to commercialize dengue-related research, prototypes and products in Malaysia.
This initiative aims to support proposals for collaborative projects that bring together experts from Malaysia and United Kingdom to focus on commercialization of dengue-related research and products in Malaysia.
This collaboration will target a more proactive approach, moving from response-driven activities to long-term prevention and preparedness-driven activities, providing a comprehensive solution to dengue outbreaks in Malaysia.
Challenge winners serve as solution provider to reduce the burden of Dengue cases in Malaysia. They presented a new method or solution to combat Dengue and remain committed to Dengue Tech Challenge.
